Has this forum considered a "look out" thread for volvo's being sold/parted out that are not aware of our community?
Some forums have in place a craigslist thread that is being constantly updated with what is available for that particular platform, some do autotrader as well with craigslist. Even if for just watching out for those suspect ads is a positive, would hate to see a fellow enthusiast become a victim in a scam or lemon purchase.
Craigslist/Auto Trader warnings threads here at MVS?

I think it would be, why don't you start one?
I've seen these post on other sites, but they focus mostly on higher performance vehicles, such as R's, T-5's and so forth. It would be nice to see a more broadened spectrum of cars and I would certainly be willing to contribute.

All the time people post craigslist ads they see, in the for sale forum here. So obviously that's "supportable."
Regardless, I'm pretty confident no one would stop you from starting such a thread here too, go for it!

Agreed ^^^. Go for it.
If it's popular I can even create a sub forum just for it.
I don't know if it would look like a. one megathread, b. threads by region, c. threads broken into Volvo models, etc.
Let's see where it goes and I'll react accordingly to organize this information.
I'm not opposed to posts highlighting CL ads asking way too much... like $10k for say a 2004 XC90. I see them often. Here at MVS in the Classifieds I don't allow this due to infighting, but for relatively anonymous CL ads it's ok.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
