Moderator Donation Drive NOW HAPPENING!

Hi guys (and the several women who frequent MVS),

Over the weekend I'm going to launch the weeklong MVS Moderator donation drive for Fall 2016.

This is your chance to help those who help us/you. You donate via PayPal, and I divide it up and send it to the moderators.

With it they buy coffee, toys for their kids, and auto parts to keep their own Volvos running... all the regular stuff that keeps our lives moving.

It usually amounts to a few hundred dollars per moderator, and they appreciate this token very much.

I'll make a big fuss when it's live so you won't miss it. :D

Any other way to donate, such as with a personal check?
I hate using paypal :-)
Oh yeah, i could probably also donate with a check from the bank itself via "bill pay". That would be a check right from the bank to a trusted addressee.
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

Might I suggest you add a link to the donation page in your request?
It might be easier for some potential contributors.
