Are td04hl cartridges the same on different car brands

Was wondering if the td04hl cartridges are the same across different car brands, for instance, would a t16 Char taken of a Saab or Subaru have all the plumbing on the same places? , and have these changed over the years aswell?

Journal Bearings/bushings, shaft, seals for ex turbine & in comp housing for cartridge should be kitted to be compatible across the vast majority. Some items may not be used. Wheels, exterior seals/gaskets and fittings are mostly unique to the vehicle manufacturer and if shared with other brand oems, it's a roll of the dice.

ah well, it Would have been to easy if they were all interchangable.
