fuel pump relay issue

Another excellent idea. The "blade" type prongs likely to be more secure in the socket and the fuse is good protection. What fuse rating for that circuit just to round out this thread?

I've read that the caps are the cause of this failure and someone wrote about changing them out for a fix.

fuel pump fuse (#2) is 15 amps so I would assume that would remain constant

I remember this too, but I think I would research this a bit before spending lots of time on it. Capacitor plague was a thing in the 1999-200? thing, but many people blame caps before it happened!

Was at the yard today and pulled these out of two side by side cars. One has 5 prongs and the other 4. I think they came out of 95 or 96 sedans both N/A
