Various Electrical Issues

Hi all,

02 V70 XC 135,000 miles
I've had for about a year

I'm having several electrical issues.

I'm trying to narrow down what components may be at fault.

About 1/2 the functions on my HVAC panel aren't working.

Heated seats & defroster buttons are inoperable
Interior fan starts spinning as soon as I get in car,
Before I insert key in ignition, & it keeps spinning for about 5 minutes after I remove key.
Also, A/C button illuminates, but no A/C
(Might be unrelated issue)

I have been trying to figure if it's all because of a bad CCM, or CEM, or a combination of both of them going bad.

Also, the screen on my DIM is usually scrambled or pixelated, and I was wondering if any of these modules can be replaced with identical parts without having to get them keyed to vehicle.

For the DIM, it's the first signs of the typical failure. Best choice either a repair service off Ebay - round $200, either a local tv shop nice enough to take care of it and check the whole board. Disconnect the car battery the whole time the DIM is out.

For the remaining, I would measure see the alternator is charging fine. The regulator bushings might have been worn. Also check the power cable from it.
I'd also check all pulleys on the serpentine belt.
