I thought I saw a reply with a mechanic shop mentioned for this request a few weeks ago. A bit further out but dyn blin recommended a shop north of Sacramento he used for my brother that lives in Santa Rosa. Can't recall the name but have checked back and this was the company he reckoned were good:
Al's Village Auto on Summerfield Rd. It is near Santa Rosa in Sonoma Co.
