2002 s60 Can't turn alarm off or start car

Just got my car from a local dealer. First night home and my car alarm woke me up this morning. I ran down stairs to turn it off but my key fob (remote) seemed to be dead. I used the key blade to get in the car, and put the key in the ignition to temporarily turn off the alarm, but I can't get the car to start.

Not sure what is going on.

Status:

Car Alarm: Off
Key Fob: Dead Apparently
Key won't start car
Can't disarm car alarm
