Radio wire issue - blue wire for the power antenna

Im installing a new pionner headunit in my car , i got the metra harness but im not sure where i need to connect the blue wire for the power antenna on the pionner harness

I would like to also know where to connect the purple/white wire for the reverse gear signal.

Oh god, i think i got something wrong

I bought the double din piece from the volvo dealer but aftermarket radio clearly dont fit and the model i bought have no faceplate arou d the screen and no metal adapter to hold the radio in place

I don't see a power antenna wire listed in the manual, are you sure your car even has a power antenna? I don't have an XC but the one in my V70 is integrated into the windows. If you don't have an antenna that physically moves, you don't use that wire. Also, are you using a backup camera? If not you don't need the reverse gear wire either. If so, it needs to attach to something like the positive wire for one of the reverse lights.. As for the mounting, you need a universal double din kit if yours didn't come with the cage. thanks for the reply, the car does not have a moving antena so il just skip this wire, im using a backup camera so il just run a wire and tap it on the backup light with the camera.

as for the universal double din kit, im a bit septical. Does anyone ever used one on the Volvo Oem Double Din trim?

You need the entire kit not just the faceplate. Supposed to all be in one kit
Not all radios fit perfectly plus the kit has no trim piece for around the radio (IIRC), the radios sometimes have them
You may have to make one up

That kit should work, might take some trial and error depending on how many ways it can assemble but it should work.

That is a decent kit but make sure it will work with your faceplate
What YEAR is yours?
Crutchfield sells a kit for 2005-2007s, the earlier (01-04) are harder to find, especially the one year color in 2004s
