Leak in Front Passenger Footwell, How to Remove Carpet?

Hello Friends!
This is my first post as I am working through issues on a new to me V70. I just discovered a wet floor on the passenger side so wanted to get the carpet peeled back to dry it out and hopefully see where the water is coming from. From some other posts I've researched it looks like the door sill trim just pops up and off. What other trim pieces need to come off? Are there any special tricks to avoid breaking these plastic pieces?

Are there typical leak points on the V70? My car has a sunroof so suspecting that might be part of it. All of the drain screens at the bottom of the windshield are clear.

Try not remove the door sill trim

Unbolt the front two seat bolts.
Lift up seat
Remove carpets

I cleaned out the sunroof drains on mine. I heard the cowl drains can be an issue too.

I ended up rolling the carpet back and the foam underneath was completely dry, which was a relief. It seems like water was leaking onto the top of the carpet somehow...maybe from the cabin air filter/intake. There is a rubber floor mat on the carpet, so I don't think it was water from shoes. I will just keep the carpet rolled back for a while and hopefully catch where the water is coming from.

Any tips on clearing the sunroof drains? I took a look with the sunroof open and it wasn't obvious where they were up at the sunroof. I also ran a garden hose on the sunroof, door, and windshield for about 5 minutes and didn't see even a drop of water inside the car.

Had the exact issue with my '07 V70 ... after a heavy rain traces (not flooding) of water on top of the carpet in the rear corner of the passenger foot well. Take a look at this other video - under the cowl on the passenger side there is a "cap" over the area where fresh air is drawn into the system. Its designed to divert water from the intake ... and it's possible the seal needs to be replaced / the area cleaned of leaves and other small debris.
