Replacing Washer Fluid Delivery Valve

The plug off my Part 14 (diagram of windshield washer hoses) has popped off and all the washer fluid goes into the engine compartment instead of onto my windshield. I have ordered the part, and am wondering if this is an easy fix to install?

Can I do it without removing the fabric on the underside of the hood (heat shield I believe?), or can I just pull off the hoses and replace without removing the fabric part? I tried to remove the fabric, but I can't figure out how to remove it. There are clip type things that I squeeze, but I still can't remove.

Any help would be great!
