Volvo V70XC P2 - Looking for the 210/211 relay
Hi all! Looking for the 210/211 relay to the factory alarm system. Idk if I'm just blind or what but I cant for the life of me find it... I have the (cem?) down from where it sits under the dash and have been looking everywhere. Any help would be great, hell a picture would be perfect Haha. Merry Christmas and have a great 2017

There is no relay for alarm. The function for alarm is scattered to a few modules and the siren.
Key chip is interpreted by CEM via the antenna ring/inductor that slips over the steering column lock cylinder. Door latches are "watched' by the REM. UEM receives remote's broadcast.
what are you trying to repair?

Damn, well from what you just told me, nothing no more Haha. I've ran into an immobilizer issue and was hoping to jump the relay to get the car to the dealer. So there really is no way to bypass the alarm on 2000 and up? I've been reading for hours, day after day to get nowhere. That was my last shotjimmy57 wrote:There is no relay for alarm. The MOST common issue with immobilizer is the connections at antenna ring. plug/unplug a few times with WD40 spray bath will often fix it.
WHat message(s) are displayed? Any warning lamps?

Yeah I've tried the wWD40. If the piece that goes around the ignition ends up being faulty is it as simple as just replacing it or would i most likely need the software programmed?jimmy57 wrote:The MOST common issue with immobilizer is the connections at antenna ring. plug/unplug a few times with WD40 spray bath will often fix it.
