Symptoms : While driving, sometimes the car will not accelerate when pressing the gas pedal (very limited amount of acceleration). Eventually it begins to drive normal. Also, simetimes it can be difficult to crank. Resulting in me having to try multiple times. Have anyone experience this? Can you give me clues to where to start troubleshooting?

I would check for leaks in your engine air intake. Start at the air box to the turbo to the inter cooler then to the Throtle body. On most of the intake pipes there are hoses or sensors that are attached. Make sure the sensors are seated correctly and follow any hoses from the air intake system to ensure they are not cracked or disconnected. Also there is a short 90 degree pipe at the bottom of the inter cooler, make sure this short little pipe is not collapsed. Smoking the intake system is a quick way to find any intake leaks. I suspect you have unmetered air invading your intake system.

Hoses on these car sales are complicated. You need to take them off carefully and inspect tomfind leaks. You can't just look at them. Example here

I changed my fuel pump relay and it solved my long crank to start issues.
Search on the forum. Been more than a few threads about the fuel pump relay.
