ok quite right turned off and no tick, how do I replace the lever? can I get one from the JY you think? Thanks

On that arm,can I get a replacement at the JY, I read somewhere these were a B to replace,or is it easier to leave broken arm on and try and repair it,Thanks

When I went looking for one in PnP last year for my 97 850 project, the air intake flap arm was probably broken 50% of the time. They can still be bought new from the dealer. Part # 6808653.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. Can I pull a arm lever from the JY,and is this an easy project, or is it easier to try and refuse the one thats on there somehow, whats the best way to fix this?

Sorry missed your thread. Yes it is fairly easy to replace. The 850 is a little more tricky than the V/S70 only due to access to the 2 screws you need to remove from the glove box hatch. You may be able to do it just by removing the lower dash cover (2 or 3 screws). I think you may be able to replace it without removing the glove box, but visibility and access may be tricky.

You can see one end is missing part of the square drive hole for the servo motor.

Yes you can us a JY one if you can find one. It depends on how much time you have to find a good one and then how old is it? Check with the dealer on the price, it may be low enough not to bother going to the JY unless you are going for something else.
