240 High Beam Dash Light

Post by happy_dalek »

I searched and couldn't find anything in the forums about this, so here we go.
I swapped out my turn signal stalk for another, as mine was not switching from low beam to high beam. The one I swapped it with does switch from the high beam and low beam, but apparently, my lights were in high beam these past few weeks. When the low beams are on, the dash light indicates the high beam light, and when the high beams are on, the dash light goes out indicating that the low beams are on. I'm wondering if this is caused by the switch being clicked before installation or if it has something to do with the high/low beam relay.
I shall be testing further the following day if my first theory of the switch being in the wrong position, but I doubt it.
Any advice or tips? I feel like this is common.

Was Dr. John's Right Place Wrong Time tune being played during stalk installation?
