Parting Out a 850 in West Hartford CT

As some of you know I am rebuilding my 93 and am in need of parts.

So to replace the hood and other required parts i purchased a 93 850 in west hartford CT. The car is still running and has a title with only a winshield broken and one bad leathers drivers seat according to the owner. This is a non turbo automatic.

So here is the opportunity. (in the first week of August is when i plan to get there)

I can simply just remove the hood and other parts of the car and send the rest to the wreckers.

But.. if someone would like to donate a nearby location (a garage , specially with a power outlet would be ideal) which we can move the car to and do a more detailed strip down i could repay them with the engine and tranny and other bits i dont need.

It would be a shame to let it all go to the wreckers...just to give them the opportunity to re sell it to other volvo enthusiasts!

man, i am in stony brook, long island. which is half the state and a ferry ride away, and i am a lowly graduate student with a rental house, a driveway, and some tools from walmart... but if you get this going, i'd make the drive up to help out however i could \ learn from masters how to keep my baby going...
