2001 V70XC - Brake pedal ticking/pulsating Topic is solved

I have been driving our V70XC more often this holiday season. The normal dry condition braking gives a feel of ticking at the foot pedal at each instance -- a lot subtle than ABS response during wet conditions. Akebono on Z-coated.

My girls love this car 174Kmi.
Any thoughts?

Hopefully not a brake system valve. These get damaged sometimes when pushing back the piston to make room for new pads, while not releasing the bleeder valve.

Recently serviced front brakes and replaced the rotors. Ticking and pulsating at brake pedal is gone. Thank you MVS!
