xc70 remote

My xc70 remote keeps falling apart, the threading has shredded and thus wont stay together, it still works.
Does anyone know where I can get a case? I have spent hours looking online and come up with a complete new remote but I dont need complete remote just the case.
Or I was thinking even a newer flip key that I could have cut, depending on the cost, I would like to know and weigh my options.

Change the battery and close it with 4-5 spots of superglue on the outside at joins?
