Where is the Intake Camshaft Position Sensor on 2000 XC70 with B5244T

Feel real dumb, not being able to google an answer or stir up a picture on Volvo sites for the location of the Intake Camshaft Position Sensor.

2000 XC70 Dog Wagon.

I've replaced the Exhaust Camshaft Position Sensor but it didn't fix the problem. My code reader then told me the Intake Sensor is wonky....................BUT WHERE THE HECK IS IT ?? >>>>PLEASE.

If there is not one at the timing belt or the back of the cam it doesn't have one.

What is the code number that it is posting (Pxxxx)? There are many codes from a Volvo that get misinterpreted by the code readers or by way of Google lookups if you don't specifically include Volvo in the search.

They don't have intake cam sensors. Only one fitted to exhaust.

As above a code reader (or google search) giving you false information

If there was one it would be at the rear of cam, opposite the exhaust cam sensor. Since the 2000 has no distributor cap/rotor there like the '98 you should see a blank plug in it's place.
