2010 C70 hardtop roof drain locations

Post by jgregt »

Does anyone have a photo showing where the roof drains are on a 2010 C70 hardtop?

I have read online people say they are visible with the top half-way down, but even with a flashlight, I have not been able to find them.

After heavy rains, or steady, day-long rain, I end up with a wet trunk on the drivers side.

Thanks much for any help.

Looking for you but having trouble finding a diagram. On a Brit site, an owner of an '06 C70 (yeah, I know your 2010 is different) wrote this: "It turned out to be a problem with the hard moulded carpet trim on the underside of the boot lid. The corners were just catching the rubber seal at the base of the rear window as I closed the boot and causing a small gap. This gap was at the perfect place to catch all the rainwater running down the window, so when driving, a substantial amount of water made it through. Simple solution, involving a pair of shears, and the problem has been resolved."

I'll keep looking and if I find something I'll let you know.

So I got into VIDA- it is so difficult to navigate. What I'm thinking is that with your hard top convertible there are no drain hoses and you're dependent on all the seals doing their job. here is what I finally found. Let me know if you want me to try to look a little further.
