I am a bit worried the 1999 ECT is different than the earlier P80s, so if someone comes up with the chart for -1998, lets put it here too.

For search purposes, you have to use the whole name for ECT, as three character strings are ignored in Search.

I measured the Ohm readings on a brand-new Volvo ECT for 1998 S70 a few years ago in my kitchen/freezer etc.
The readings were (these were actual measurements):

* -20C: 16,000 Ohms (16 kOhms)
* 0C: 7,300 Ohms
* 20C: 2,600 Ohms
* 80C: 300 Ohms
* 90C (Operating Temp): 200 Ohms
* 100C: 150 Ohms

It looks like the tolerance ranges from 50-100% on the high side!
