Hello from EXTREME NE GA on Lake Hartwell!
I'm bringing a 1992 240 back from neglect of a PO for some service duty. My question is, does the MAF "fasten" to something via a bracket? -- if so, mine is missing, it is just floating around in there connected between the TB and air box hoses via clamps.
So far, replaced timing belt + tensioner and seals, taillights (direct wired - in progress), trip reset button, odometer gear, accessory belts, alternator, fan clutch, radiator, thermostat + seal (original was MIA when I removed upper hose), radiator hoses, new rear brake pads and retention clips + rear rotors, new rear shocks, engine/trans mounts, plugs/wires/cap/rotor, fuel filter, some other bits and bobs I'm positive that I forgot.
Just ordered trans filter kit + kickdown cable because mine is disconnected and taped up...I just love when something needed fixed or addressed on this car, the PO obviously determined that particular part or function was optional.
She runs good, though!
MAF Bracket?

It is connected via a 10mm bolt that runs through a rubber mount.
