Robert is part of the reason I have a Volvo right now. I first discovered his Youtube channel when my cousin's heater core went out in his S70. We realized after the carpets were soaked in antifreeze and the windows couldn't defog that there was a problem! Then a year after that I bought my V70 partly because of his videos and this forum. Lots and lots of incredibly useful owner's resources between the two!

Thank God you're out, Robert. I really have to thank you for your guidance and help in replacing the cylinder head on our 1997 960, which I just finished the day you went in! I doubt I could have done it without you. I must have studied every one of your head gasket videos before the tear down. Thanks to you, I had no issues and the car runs better than ever.

My father has struggled with this afib stuff for years, he's had some scares and even a few surgeries. He had an ablation last year and with diet changes and medication he seems to be putting the issue behind him. He will turn 67 in Feb. If you'd like to speak with him and get a fellow patient's advice at some point in the next couple of weeks, PM or text me and I'll get you in touch with him. I'm sure you have good doctors there, but sometimes talking with someone who has also been through it can help. Sort of like what you do with the volvos... take care and rest easy.
Thanks for the offer. One of my best friends has had it for 15 years.
