Hello Everyone
I am new to the boards, as I just bought this nice daily driver, and I have two problems. One was a Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor code, which I have already taken care of via great write ups and articles via the internet. After replacing this I am now receiving codes P0172 and P0089.
P0172 - Continuing to do research on here as well as other sites, I have started a hand over hand inspection of the vacuum system and have decided to just replace it all with high temp silicone hose, while reusing existing elbows and connections, where applicable. This will take care of everything on the right side of the motor if you look down on it from the front. Is there anything else I should be looking for as far as vacuum lines go. I can reset these codes with my diagnostic tool and it runs great until I turn the car off then the code comes back.
P0089 - I am not sure where to start on this code, so I am hoping this forum can provide more direction.
I am 90% sure it is time to go with a version of VADIS and VICE to get me pointed in the right direction, any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

The code that remains is still a fuel pressure code. Were you able to reset the code after you fixed the problem?
Btw, a lot of the PVC pressure is in the oil filter chamber. Some of these are under warranty, so check with your dealer with your VIN to make sure- evidently some were not so good off the rail and so they are being exchanged for free.
Best of luck!

Has the fuel filter been replaced after the sensor was replaced?XCLR8N wrote:Hello Everyone

Finding the source for setting P0089 may very likely resolve P0172 at the same time.
