Rear spoiler Volvo 850

Hello everyone! :D :D I am new here. My name in matthew. I have a Volvo 850 gle 2.5 10v model '97. I am from Argentina.

I need your help. I managed to get an OEM wing (rear spoiler) coming from a 850 glt '93, part number 3512443, but I have no idea where I can buy the brackets to place it or if necessary to make it (get it OEM would be easier haha) :D .

Does anyone have an idea as they are, part number, etc?

Thank you very much! I give u photos so that they can see the car and the presented rear spoiler.

You will need to find used mounts as they are now obsolete.

This one is going to be a bit tough since the spoiler for the '93 model was unique to that year. I'm not sure if the mounts were different than the later mounts or not.

If you do find the mounts then do your self a favor and also use some double sided adhesive trim tape and add it to the bottom of the spoiler at the places where it meets the trunk deck. The tape by itself will not hold it on but the mounts themselves tend to spread and come loose. The double sided trim adhesive will help to stabilize it and keep the mounts from coming loose.

I thought I may have some of the mounts somewhere but can't find them just now. I have a tailgate spoiler and mounts for a wagon though, but no use to you unfortunately.

I wish you luck trying to find the mounts.

There are no "Brackets" for the '93 spoiler.
The upgrades to m\y '93 were done at the dealership when new. They drilled two holes at each end through the trunk lid and screwed it on.

Mine has the center brake light so I imagine they also had drilled a center hole for wiring.

Why spoiler from '93 on '97?
'95-'97 have slightly different and better looking shape than the one from '93.
You can see it on Ben850's black car from it's 1st picture.
It would look better with newer style spoiler.
'97 850 2.5 20v / fully equipped / Motronic 4.4 from the factory / upgraded with S,V,C,XC70 instrument cluster / polar white wagon
