2008 XC90 V8 4.4L
I pulled a P0089 and P0192 Codes.
Car runs smooth. No misfire. At Idle and increased RPM's.
The Fuel Pressure runs at 55#'s.
Bring up RPM's- Rise in Pressure.
Fuel Trims seem normal - Short stayed within normal positive range at idle. Then went into negatives upon higher RPM's. Long Trim followed.
No fuel at Regulator Vacuum hose.
Assumed no vacuum leaks . Or bad Pressure Regulator.
Oxygen Sensors all operated in normal ranges- .45MV Closed loop
"My" diagnose(best guess) is, Fuel Pressure Sensor bad.
Am I correct ?
To replace- Hands to big to fit under intake manifold. Are there any other options ?
Thank you

Can you measure the fuel pressure independently?
I know that with VIDA plugged in, I can see what my fuel pressure is. On my 850 and S80 there's a fitting on the fuel rail where I can connect a gauge. (I would think there would be a similar one on the V8, but I haven't had to measure that yet, so I don't know for certain.)
So, even just in the garage, one could connect a gauge, even mechanical, and validate whether the fuel pressure sensor is or is not giving reasonably valid readings.

I measured the fuel pressure. There is a Schrader valve off the fuel rail.
I was inquiring whether I was neglecting to test anything else, that my scanner would
not indicate, that it is "not" the Fuel Pressure Sensor ?
Also, if there were an alternate way of replacing the sensor, without pulling the intake manifold off ?
