Latest scan shows 1 code P1108 -- Manufacturer Controller Air metering -- bad MAF?

I would wait untill cloned one is installed.

Something to consider....is it possible that bad ecu can fry sensors?

I may hold off on getting the replacement cloned and see if the reseating works. If I can drive code free for a while, I'm thinking it might have been a corrosion/connection issue. Although I have my fingers crossed, I'm not particularly optimistic about the reseating, but I will give it a little time.

So, after removing and cleaning the ECU I had a hunting idle and P1108 code as well as a lit up ETS light. After clearing all, the hunting idle disappeared, the ETS light has stayed out and I've gotten no CEL in about 150 miles. I'm thinking the clean and reseat of the ECU may have worked. Fingers still crossed.

P1017 back today, 13 months after last occurrence. Have a used ECU, but have not gotten it cloned as of yet. I'm going to turn out the CEL and see what transpires. Watch this space . . .

I forgot to post this, or maybe I learned this in the last two years.

Anytime the MAF is either faulty or disconnected, Ive noticed ME7 will run the fan on for 4-5 minutes after key off. Not sure what that is about.
