I have been informed by my distribution centre that the Aux input will work with ALL SC (Excpet 9** series) model h/u that have the 6disc changer control & din plug. All that is required then is the Ipod to Aux kit.jjones wrote: More on topic, though... does this trick work on an SC-816 from a 1998 V70?
Cheers,
Jim

I have a same question, I think radio model is Audio system SC-813.mrreilly wrote:Will this work on my '98 S70's radio?
I tried many ways to get a mp3 sound out of my radio.
First, I connected the ipod cassete adaptor but the player pushes it back after 30-40 seconds or so.
Also, I got "Broadcast to Car Radio For MP3 iPod device" which u plug into the 12 v power and your ipod. Then, you turn your Car Radio to 107.7 and allegedly should end up with a cd-like quality sound.
However, it turned out that the audio quality is horrible.
I am desperate

According to my distributor the S70 with the SC series radio will work with this adaptor. They do actually list it for ALL `SC` series h/u except the 9** tho.dobriduh wrote:I have a same question, I think radio model is Audio system SC-813.mrreilly wrote:Will this work on my '98 S70's radio?

As of now, I've got my iPod hooked up through a tape thing. It sounds a million times better than any FM transmitter. I'm pretty happy it.
