I was supposed to turn around and head back to Jersey tomorrow but that aint happening - 8 inches predicted. Im sure I87 will be closed until noon at least

Thruway -- Yeah, very likely. So far I have a foot of snow. Looks like it has actually started snowing a bit more heavily.
