850 Estate Roof Trim Clips

Hi, some vandals pulled off the roof strips on the 850 T5 estate my Dad has owned since new. He tells me that Volvo in the UK don't sell the clips for the trim any more and he can't refit the trim as a result.

We can't understand why anyone would wish to damage a Volvo in this way.

Please could anyone recommend a solution other than glue? Thanks.

You can find just about anything at the scrap yard (breakers).
