Car seems to be stuck in limp home mode.
I got a 99 volvo s70 glt turbo I replaced the PNP switch still had flashing arrow took it back out cleaned it reinstalled it still getting flashing arrow light on dash. Reset codes, pops right back on. Also ran diagnosis on it and got p0605 internal control module read only and crank sensor code.my next step? My car needs some type of software update by sealer would that fix the problem?

Have you tried checking the connections to the crank sensor and cleaned them?

It through that code yesterday so that will cause the car to only drive in 3rd

Maybe something is wrong with the transmission. Have the vehicle checked out by a Volvo mechanic.
