can bus system

Post by drjurman »

Does anyone have, id there such a thing available as a can bus wiring and connection schematic? I ham an intermittent communication between the TCM the DIM the CEM. The dealer cant get codes off vida. The car runs okay then the DIM goes away, the tranny lurches and it looses power. Doesnt go into limp home. Turn it off, and on and things seem to be okay. Transmission service required reading on LCD

(when it's not in gibberish) And yellow warning triangle. Dealer says its going to cost a fortune to chase down a possible bad wire in one of the networks. I can do wiring, just not sure who hooks up to where, and what component takes priority.

What car is this David? The wiring diagrams are on the inter webs , but the 98'in your profile doesn't have CANBUS...unless you drive it a few hundred miles north ( Abscate humor)
