This is my first Volvo - the car mostly runs fine but recently has started (on occasion idling rough) and on occasion experiencing a loss of power when accelerating. On occasion Idle feels a little rough but the tach. is constant and steady. Not fluctuating.
I cleared my error codes, drove for 10 minutes and a number of errors returned. (Listed below)
I have purchased a new Fuel Regulator (end of fuel rail) - but have not yet installed it.
Today I was outside of the car and I got the hint of the smell gas like the fuel mixture may be rich...
Does anyone have any ideas on what may be going on... ? I feel that this is in the early stages... but I would like to nip it in the bud.
These are the error codes:
P0089 - Suction Control Valve Stuck
P0100 - Mass or volume Air Flow Circuit.
P0101 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problems
P0170 - Fuel Trim (Bank 1)
P0193 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input
P2131 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch F Circuit range performance
P2188 - System Too Rich at Idle Bank 1
If anyone has any insights, please advise....

A new 02 sensor (probably the front) and a new MAF sensor to begin with.
That should solve most of your problems but before you spend money it really should be narrowed down using a VIDA DICE unit (dealer).

OK - I fixed the problem - I replaced the fuel pressure sensor at the end of the rail. No more errors, Here is a good "how to" video on YouTube.
Thanks for the thought provoking ideas... will advise if things change.
