I have 99 V70 XC AWD and the courtesy lights will not go out. I went to the grocery last night and all was well. When I got into the car to drive home I realized the courtesy lights had stayed on and would not go out. After a few go's of trying to trigger the lights to dim (locking, unlocking etc etc) I pulled the #15 fuse to kill the lights. I could live with this fuse pulled, except for the fact that the door warning beeping is on constantly.

Suggestions?

Which light? Overhead or at your feet?

Either one of your doors/ tailgate isn't closed or your master door lock ( driver door) is broken. Try locking it with the key

The light take a couple minutes to go out on my 99, btw

Have you double checked the mode switch in the overhead console?
