Radio Code Help

I have an SC816 head unit without code that I need to fit in my daughter's 850.
I don't know the vin number as it came from another car a few years back.
The chances of getting an Australian dealership to bother to obtain the code from the serial number are next to none.
Is anyone able to help me get the code through a Volvo dealer using just the information on the case?
