Why does Emissions test show my 850 is a turbo, when it's not? Topic is solved

Probably has a door replacement with the wrong VIN tag.

In Pennsylvania, I told the inspection station to put in 2.3l when I knew my 98 v70xc was a 2.4l. Now when I get the car inspected PenDOT remembers the 2.3l even if i go to a new inspection station. I told them to use 2.3l, because it is much easier to pass emissions for the year 1998. I do not have to have any ready test completed (to pass), for my state emissions inspection. A special exception for the volvo v70 2.4l engine year 1998, told to me by dealer service department manager, when I had trouble completing the ready tests.

In 97 the 850 GLT went from a non-turbo to a turbo. Chances are there is a database error thanks to Volvo playing with spec and using same model designation for the different years.
