98 V70 EGR Valve - location

It occurred to me the other day that I've never cleaned the EGR valve on my car. I went looking for the location and what I found is that it's below the throttle body hiding below it. I've never really noticed it there - is that the actual location? I've had the throttle body removed and n my hands and I don't remember seeing it. However, it was a long day of doing the PCV mod and I was working out in the driveway in the dark and it was starting to rain - so I may not have been that observant.

Doesn't anyone know where the EGR valve is located on the 98 V70?

Volvo stopped putting EGR on the P80 cars with the 95 850.

There is no EGR system on a 98.

I kind of came to that conclusion until I found the same thread you posted. I've never noticed it but if I actually I have one it definitely needs needs to be cleaned. I looked for theEGR part on a couple of websites at several different vendors and nobody had it which reinforces the thought that the 98 V70 didn't have one.
