v70 electrical problem?

Hey, I'm new to the forums but not new to Volvos. I was thinking about buying a 1999 v70 T-5 with 100k on it for about 6 grand. I have heard from some however to be wary of model year 1999 cars, as they have electrical problems. Is there any truth to his?

2001 and on have bigger electical problems. I have not heard of anything specific to the '99 that would spook me other than the standard Volvo problems that involve anything that is glued.

And, in my experience:

1) Key Switch (around $50 if you do it yourself - fairly easy. I fixed mine for free)

2) Latch Assembly for Hatch (fixed mine for free with some ingenuity - no idea of retail costs) It was causing the "Door Ajar Light" to be On.
