Volvo XC70AWD Software Upgrade on ECM&ETM

Hello
Could anybody please give me som hint on where I can get new software downloaded to my ECM and my new "used" ETM (from another car)

Car starts up and idling fine.. but no response on throttle (Limp mode I believe)

I have Vida Dice 2014D so if anyone could help via remote through my computer..

Living to far away from a Volvo Garage to get it in there..will cost to much to move the car..

Help please

Unfortunately you need to buy a subscription and install a fully licensed version of VIDA to get the downloads to work. You also need to buy the downloads and the prices vary depending on what package you need. The software packages aren't insanely expensive but they aren't cheap either. The last I read they would only sell annual subscriptions and the price for an annual subscription exceeds the value of any of the cars we are discussing in this forum. The Volvo software programs are structured so that really only a Volvo dealer can deal with software issues and have it make sense.

Most, but not all, of the aftermarket DICE units can be used to load software. I don't know exactly which units can and cannot deal with software downloads.

Try disconnecting battery, turn key to position 2 then hit brake pedal.reconnect battery and start to see what the result is. It's worth a try.
