99 S70 na Intake Hose
New owner of 99 S70. Id like to know the name of the sensor and the hose that connects to the intake manifold. The replacements Ive found for the air intake hose have the sensor connection but seems to be missing the one that goes to the IM

I appreciate it. I was confused because I kept hearing that these models didn't have an aic. Do you know if I can attempt to clean it with MAF or throttle body cleaner before replacing it?

If you have ETS, electronic throttle System, you don't have an IAC.
Is there an ETS light on your dash when you turn the key on, without starting ?

Yes Ive removed the etm to clean it the other day. I googled the sensor on the intake hose which led me to the iac. The iac connects to the intake hose with iac hose connecting to the intake manifold. I ordered the hose yesterday. I will attempt to clean the valve once I have the replacement. The one currently installed is very old. Thanks for the input. I will give an update once i pull off the valve and sensor.

I don't think that is an IAC. Once you electronically control the throttle, there is no reason for IAC.
Ill look at my 1999 NA parts car and see if I can learn what this is.
Perplexed....

2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)
