P0422 and P0432 on a T6

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

P0422 and P0432 on a T6

Post by SpeedGP »

So lately the Volvo's been kind of a money pit, but I'm not ready to give up yet!

A couple months back I had a failed turbo that caused a TON of thick smoke, took it to a repair guy who swapped one of the turbos and everything went back to normal. Now I'm trying to get it through DEQ (Oregon Resident) and as soon as Catalyst goes to a ready state (about 3 driving sessions), I get these two codes, P0422 and P0432.

I'm wondering if the thick smoke wreaked the cats or o2 sensors....

Any thoughts?

Any way to test the current o2 sensors? I have a scanner, a multimeter, and some electronics knowledge
