Anyone had any luck removing aftermarket paint off of a rear bumper on a '98 V70XC bumper without damaging the original paint? My "new to me" daily driver's po made the unfortunate choice of painting all of the grey trim with a much darker paint and now I'm suffering the consequences.
Pictures to follow.

Bring your car to Calgary and park it in a shopping mall parking lot and the drivers here will quickly remove the paint for you!
It will depend on how well the paint was applied and what preparation was used before applying it if the paint can be removed without damaging the underlying paint, especially on a plastic item.
Neil.
