Limp Home Mode

Post by agloy63 »

I posted this in the wrong forum earlier. Hopefully someone can help.

I suddenly have an issue where at random times my engine will go into limp home mode. This can be cleared by shutting down the engine for a couple of minutes, or by using my OBD WiFi connection and an app on my iPad to clear the code as I'm still driving.

The codes I'm seeing are:
P0068 MAP/MAF - Throttle Position Correlation
P0221 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Range/Performance

2002 S60 2.4T AWD

Any advise would certainly be appreciated.

Try to connect to VIDA and get the right codes, it can even tell you what to do, other then that is hard to be accurate.
