Bumper and Bumper Cover Interchange 1998 v90

Good afternoon All,

I recently got a 1998 v90 with a smashed in rear bumper and bumper cover and the online parts website for Volvo states that the bumper and bumper cover have the same part number over 1995-1997 960's. Unfortunately, the parts do not fit. I got the bumper brackets, bumper and bumper cover out of a junkyard 960 sedan (no mention in part numbers to there being a difference in wagon or sedan) and while the bumper bracket physically fits in the v90 bumper bracket receiver, it can not be bolted in to the car and a bumper/bumper cover can not be installed.


I see that there isnt a lot of support for the v90 wagons but does anyone know if I will be forced into finding another 1998 v90 for parts? Thanks
