'95 Oil Consumption with Good Compression

Basically normal for turbo engine to drink a bit of oil.
My 1998 S70 GLT with 185K miles...All new PCV (5/8-inch mod etc.) everything up-to-date...it drinks roughly 1qt every 1000-1500 miles.
For me that is normal.
My 2005 XC90 2.5T with 105K miles drinks the same amount of oil, i.e., 1qt every 1000-1500 miles.
