b5254t piston questions

from what i understand the 850's use the same 83mm piston that i need for my 1998 b5254t v70 awd 2.4 t
Would i be able to use the 850 pistons as a replacement for the stock pistons in the car??
Really need to know soon becuase if i can't find pistons im going to end up buying another motor to drop in.

or would a 2.4t piston from a 2000 v70 work for my car

Yes, but in assembly with connecting rods only. And, surely, from turbo engine ONLY. Some latest 850's were equipped with B5254T. Pistons for normally aspirated B5254 are not interchangeable with pistons for turbo models.
