Thanks for the support, guys. Waiting on UPS to deliver the 98 S70 master cylinder (no TRACS) model to see if that one will fit... It's out for delivery as I write this. If not, really need to think this through.
- Replaced my the no-name brake hoses I put in there two years ago with OEM one from FCP.
- Changed my oil, the summer Mobil 1 10-40
- Installed my first Lemforder pieces (new sway end links). (I hope the KERFLUNK-sound disappears...)
- Cleaned out my MAF.
- Did an airbox delete.
C'mon UPS! I hope I can get this taken care of today...
Is there a brake master cylinder write-up?

Is there not a part number cast into the old master cylinder that you can look up? I also ordered the wrong part, and ended up looking up the number stamped into the old part to get the right one.

So the problem (as I see it...) is that our car (1998, Volvo S70, N/A, MT 5-Speed, BASE) takes the WITHOUT TRACS master cylinder. (Which makes absolutely no sense since when we bought the car it had a TRACS light on the dash and the ABS module I ordered from Midwest ABS was for a car with TRACS! And it was the same exact one that I pulled from our car...). There seems to be a little bit of miscommunication here.
I haven't been able to fully bleed my master cylinder yet and will try to finish that up tomorrow...
Thanks for all the support everyone. The car's not perfect right now. But she turned on... And didn't get any weird noises... Whew...

And... She's leaking again... I think Scotty Kilmer is onto something when he says to only install new master cylinders... My rebuilt piece lasted all of 1.2K miles or so. But hey, at least I got a trip to Montreal out of it!
Anyone know how much I should expect to pay for a master cylinder job? $500-800? I can do brake jobs with the best of them, but bleed Masters and ABSs... Sigh...
Sucks too because I was thinking about picking up another P80...
Thanks for reading fellas.

Leaking from the end of the MC into the booster??
If you have good brakes bring it up and we will knock it off in under 2 hours. EZ PZ
When you need a few days up here, we will start on day one, you can borrow a driver and finish it off, Worst case the following week.

Yes. I'll take a picture of the leak... it looks the same as my previous leak. The textbook drip down the brake booster...
