Only the fuel pressure regulators used with white/blue injectors are different.
Really? I thought the blue injectors were 395cc while the whites are only 350cc? https://www.fcpeuro.com/blog/posts/red- ... ctor-guide
You should really read what you post.
White & Blue

White and Blue injectors flow exactly the same.
High fuel pressure means injectors will flow more, HOWEVER, fuel pump will flow less.
Duh... can't believe I missed that part. I got caught up reading the bottom half. So I guess it really comes down to the ECU/fuel pressure regulator with white vs. blue.

You need to modify the relay.

Thanks. What did you do for the ECU mod?

I know this question is not directed to me, but the 627 Euro Spec 850 R calibration works with manual transmission without the RPM hold and no CEL. I also modified my 627 calibration so it works with the white/blue injectors and with the correct fuel and MPG gauge. Downside is the 627 Euro Spec 850 R calibration have NO obd II capabilities, so I would not use it with 96/97 cars.

Man, I have never heard about that relay thing. Does that apply to all of them or just certain year model?

I thought all of the Volvo vehicles post 1995 were OBD2 compliant, all countries included.

All automatics 850 model as far as I know. If my memory is correct, wire diagram says that relay pin connected to the neutral safety wire, so cruise control cannot be activated in neutral or park. But manual swap require you to connect that neutral safety wire so you can start the car.

No idea, I'm just reporting what I found.

Did you wire the cruise to both clutch and brake pedal or did you just use the brake pedal?

Could be the vacuum hose popped off at the brake pedal.

I only have the vacuum and solenoid on my brake pedal. I'm too lazy to put it on the clutch pedal as well.

Wire the cruise? Huh? I have no idea, is there wires in the PNP harness that needs to be wired?

From what I understood and did was plug unplugged the 2 wire plug from my auto transmission and plugged that connection into the back of the donor '95 manual transmission. On the back side. I didn't think that anything else needed to be wired.

OK, I now have cruise. Took the car to my local Volvo shop and my mechanic pull the vacuum line off of the pump and blew into it to see if it was leaking. No leak. Then he put vacuum on it and seen the throttle move, good. Next he reached under the battery to make sure the harness was connected, it was. So he told me to take it for a spin so he could check error codes and when I hit the switch it worked. Woohoo!

Robert, have you experienced engine bucking/jerking when letting off the gas since you finished the manual swap?
