Had this exact same problem today. It was the fuel pump relay. See here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=80457#p439298
People kept suggesting it could be the MAF, Throttle, vacuum leak, etc. but I knew it had to be a fuel issue.

Listen closely to hear the fuel pump on the rear passenger side when you turn your key to the second turn of the key in the ignition switch if you dont hear it when you go to that posistion most likely is the fuel pump relay.

Also can check for fuel pressure at the bleeder at the end of the fuel rail after you try to start car to see if youre getting fuel

Hey guys,

You guys nailed it. It was the fuel pump relay. Went to pull a part and picked one from a 850 for 3 bucks and it worked.

Excellent news, glad you were able to repair it. I keep 3 spares in my S70 and have sold two to stranded owners of P80's when theirs went out.
