Check engine light
Check engine light
I recently replaced my PNP switch and brake sensor switch and cleared all the codes yet the check engine light stays on. Thinking i may need to drive it some and use another code reader i did so light still on and no faults showing up on the other code reader weird i would say.

Sometimes a transmission code will light the CEL, and not all code readers can see them. Another way to clear all the codes is to disconnect the battery for a short while and/or touch the cable ends together after disconnecting them both. Of course you will need your radio code and to let the adaptives reset before smog check etc, but I think I would give it a try in this case.
You could also just pull out the ECU (pulling the ECU is very easy but most people never had to mess with fit so don't know how) and reinstall, same with the trans computer.

I tried 3 different readers no faults I forgot to touch the terminals like you suggested I had to remove the battery and tray to get to the lower radiator hose. The KIWI Bluetooth reader I have shows everything all look within parameters I will try touching the terminals after it cools down.
