Hello guys! I have a volvo S60 2.0 gas from 2001 and the etm throttle just failed. i ve also connected it to a tester and it recognizes problems at it, also on computer, when i speed up the car(before going into protection) and put the pedal down, it only measures 18/20% from its total capacity. The problems is i have a magnetti marelli throttle and im from Romania, i tried to look over the country for old cars but not many chances. Also i saw somewhere that this part i could find it also at other models like V70-S80-XC70(and i may need to resoft the etm).
What are you suggesting me? Is there any distributor left that could still do this or could i find this part at other models?
Thank you!

I believe you can switch this to a contactless system. I did so with my 2001 XC70 which used the same MM ETM. It was not very difficult - plenty of stuff on line about it - and does not require any software. If you can go this route - do it rather than buy another MM - they will fail again.

Do a search for "VOLVO CONTACTLESS THROTTLE BODY POSITION SENSOR (TPS) ETM 1999-2002 V70 S80 C70"

Send it over to XeMoDeX.

Contactless Sacer TPS will not help if the problem is not in resistors. If you have VIDA and DiCE, you can run sweep test and see how they measure.
